Citi Field, 9 August
The first American date of the year and the first stop after the European leg. Franz Ferdinand open. The stadium runs the show rain or shine.
Hollywood Bowl, 21 to 24 October
Three nights, and the final one falls on the album's twentieth anniversary in the United States. The Bowl is far smaller than the ballparks, so these were the hardest tickets on the leg.
September 12 to October 21
Nearly six weeks between San Antonio and Los Angeles, broken only by the Louder Than Life headline slot in Louisville on 18 September.
Mostly baseball parks
Citi Field, Comerica Park, Target Field, Coors Field, Petco Park and Chase Field are all MLB stadiums, so entry rules, bag policies and parking follow each club's own regulations rather than a touring standard.
